As you progress through your continuing education program, open water to advanced open water, the next logical step is to complete your rescue diver course.
This course will expand your knowledge and experience level. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is challenging, it is a rewarding way to build your confidence.
Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. Many divers say this is the best course they’ve ever taken.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Theory Session

9:00 am

You need to reach our dive centre. Register for the course and go through the modules of the PADI Rescue Diver manual.
Your instructor will further start with the rescue diver theory and make you watch some very useful videos.

3:00 pm

You will be taught to read the signs in yourself and others of potential problems and learn the skills necessary to remediate. Now, its time to practice all the skills you have learnt.
You, your trainer and classmates will take-on different roles (rescuer, assistant, and victim) to make it as life-like as possible.

Day 2: Open Water Dive – Skills

7:30 am

We will take you to the dive site. Your PADI Instructor will give you a short briefing of what all you have learnt.
Snacks are served whilst on our way to the dive site.
Feel free to ask any questions.
You will be required to demonstrate different rescue skills like tired diver, panicked diver, distressed diver etc.

2:30 pm

You arrive back from the dive site and relax.

Day 3: Open Water Dive – Scenario

7:30 am

We will take you to the dive site. Your PADI Instructor will give you a short briefing of what all you have learnt.
Snacks are served whilst on our way to the dive site.
Feel free to ask any questions.
You will be required to demonstrate different skills in different scenarios.

2:30 pm

You arrive back from the dive site and now you are all set to celebrate your new qualification as PADI Rescue Diver!

Who is this dive for ?

This course is for those who want to prepare themselves to prevent problems and learn how to manage dive emergencies.

How deep and how long is each dive ?

The open water portion of the Rescue Diver course is based around Rescue Excercises and Rescue Scenarios so there isn’t any ‘dives’ per se.

What are the Pre-requisites ?

Must have successfully completed sanctioned course on cardio pulmonary resuscitation and basic first air within a period of last 24 months.
Must be a certified PADI Advanced open water diver or equivalent.
Should have at logged at least 20 dives including deep and navigation dives.

What are the benefits of Rescue Diver course ?

Completion of rescue diver course make you a breed apart from other divers and you gain much respect among divers. With this respect it carries responsibility of acting prudently in emergency situation to save life.
This course provides you confidence not only to help others, but to help yourself in emergency situations.

PRICING & BOOKING – INR 24,000 Plus 18% GST

It’s always good to book in advance so that you don’t miss your slot for dive.
You can book your dive right now by making a partial payment of INR 5,000 online and the rest of the amount can be paid in cash once you reach our diving centre.
If not sure about the date of your dive, you can select the preferable date and inform us at least two days in advance of the changes from the preferred date. We will try our best to accommodate you for the new date based on availability.

If you are short of time and love to learn at your own pace, then PADI offers eLearning services to you.
You can simply click here, choose the PADI open water diver course from the link and pay the cost of manuals directly to PADI.
Once you are through with your theory, you can visit us and complete your open water dives by paying INR 15,000 at our dive centre.
