Open water diver course is a full entry level certification which allows the diver to plan and dive with a buddy, independent of a professional, to a maximum recommended depth of 18 meters.
PADI Open Water Diver is the most widely recognised and respected scuba diving rating in the world, and will give you the skills you need to safely enjoy this adventurous activity.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Classroom & Confined Water Session

9:00 am

You need to reach our dive centre. Register for the course and go through the first three modules of the PADI Open Water manual.
You will be made to watch video module 1, 2 & 3 before completing a questionaire about each module.

3:00 pm

A pool session for two hours will be conducted to put into practice what you have learnt earlier in the day.

Day 2: Open Water Dives

7:30 am

You need to reach our dive centre, from where we will take you to the dive site. Your PADI Instructor will give you a short briefing of what all you have learnt.
Snacks are served whilst on our way to the dive site.
Feel free to ask any questions.
You will be required to demonstrate some dive skills while underwater.

2:30 pm

You arrive back from your dive and relax.
If you require extra pool session do let us know, we will help you out.

Day 3: Classroom & Confined Water Session

9:00 am

Go through the rest three modules of the PADI Open Water manual.
You will be made to watch video module 4 & 5 before completing a questionaire about each module.

3:00 pm

A pool session for two hours will be conducted to put into practice what you have learnt earlier in the day.

Day 4: Open Water Dives

7:30 am

We will take you to the dive site. Your PADI Instructor will give you a short briefing of what all you have learnt.
Snacks are served whilst on our way to the dive site.
Feel free to ask any questions.
You will be required to demonstrate some more dive skills while underwater.

2:30 pm

You arrive back from your dive, clean your equipments with the instructor.

3:30 pm

Final Exam and you are ready to celebrate your new qualification as PADI Open Water Diver!
Your certification is valid for life and accepted all over the world.

Who is this dive for ?

PADI Open Water course is suitable for anyone willing to obtain their worldwide scuba diving license.

How deep and how long is each dive ?

On Day 2 of your course, you will go to a maximum depth of 12m, under a close supervision of your Instructor at all times.
On Day 4 of your course, you will go to a maximum depth of 18m, under a close supervision of your Instructor at all times.
Duration of each dive will be 35-45 minutes.

What do I learn in the PADI Open Water Diver course ?

The course covers three modules of the ‘knowledge development’ section of PADI Open Water Diver course.
Molude 1: The underwater world, Dive equipments, Scuba systems, Buddy system
Module 2: Adapting to the underwater world, Respiration, Dive equipment, Buddy system communication and procedures.
Module 3: Dive environment, Dive planning, Boat diving, Problem management.
Module 4: Dive accessories, Health for diving, Breathing air at depth
Module 5: Dive table and computer procedures, Using the dive table (RDP – Recreational Dive Planner), Basic compass navigation, Dive safety practices summary

What can I do next ?

As a qualified PADI Open Water Diver, you are able to dive anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 18m with a buddy of the same level or higher.
If you want to take your scuba diving experience and knowledge to the next level then the PADI Advanced Open Water course is for you! On this course you will learn new procedures and techniques to allow you to dive safely to a maximum depth of 30m. For more details on the learning flow chart click here.

PRICING & BOOKING – INR 26,000 plus 18% GST

It’s always good to book in advance so that you don’t miss your slot for dive.
You can book your dive right now by making a partial payment of INR 5,000 online and the rest of the amount can be paid in cash once you reach our diving centre.
If not sure about the date of your dive, you can select the preferable date and inform us at least two days in advance of the changes from the preferred date. We will try our best to accommodate you for the new date based on availability.

If you are short of time and love to learn at your own pace, then PADI offers eLearning services to you.
You can simply click here, choose the PADI open water diver course from the link and pay the cost of manuals directly to PADI.
Once you are through with your theory, you can visit us and complete your open water dives by paying INR 16,000 at our dive centre.
