This site called Nursery due to millions of juvenile fish. Nursery is an adjacent site. Amber, Rainbow, Bullet head Parrot fish are pretty common. Some time we see Napeleon Wrass. This site is kind of sheltered so very less current and ideal for beginner divers.
Loads of Moorish idols and different kinds of butter fly fish hang out in the shallows. On 2nd May 2008 we were lucky enough to dive with a juvenile whale shark on this site.
There is a torpedo lying at 22 m in the westward direction. This island was used by navy for target practice earlier.
Loads of Big groupers, trevally, jacks can be seen here.
Loads of Huge mushroom corals are growing here at 12 m depth.
Currents can be pretty strong here during change of tides. At 27 m a wooden fishing trawlers rests in peace. Some big groupers have managed to make it their home.
This is the grand central station for all kind of pelagic fish.
A small cavern is located on the north west side, the entrance is 3-4 m wide and goes about 25m inside to reach the cavern. It can be a bad idea for new divers as surge can be very strong and loads of urchins growing on the wall.
This a rocky ridge 200 m away from netrani island. People say it was as high as netrani island but navy bombed it to its present height during their target practice.
Two big napoleon wrasses hang around on this site. Loads of parrot fish everywhere.
